EICS reviewed our import procedures in order to highlight any weaknesses and to assist us in redesigning our systems to enable us to present information in the required format to the customs authorities during their import audits.
Jayne worked successfully with a team from our Sales, Finance, Goods Inwards and Purchase departments identifying areas where improvements could be made in our records, documentation and internal systems as well as the communication channels between the different links in the Import Chain.
EICS have a wealth of experience to share with those who are currently thinking about becoming involved with international trade or in adding knowledge and value to their existing in-house team.
I asked Jayne to undertake a review of our export procedures after which she prepared a thorough report and made recommendations for improvements, all of which we adopted in our day to day export activities.
Jayne is a confirmed team worker and demonstrates integrity and honesty. Her attention to detail and efficiency was impeccable and she was keen to ensure that her work was to the betterment of the company. In short, Jayne will be an asset for anyone who employs her services and I would unreservedly give her a top class reference.
As part of aggressive sales expansion plans, we identified the need to contract a specialised market research person with sales development and local language capabilities. EICS helped the laboratory management team to develop a plan to approach a specific market sector in Germany to:
- Develop appropriate marketing literature in the local language
- Identify key customers by geographical areas
- Identify key customer groups
- Identify and approach key decision makers
- Act as liaison to develop new accounts
- Assist laboratory management team at appropriate conference
- Visit key targets
- Write detailed executive report on the success of the strategy
These tasks were performed in a very timely manner, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism. Some of the other key skills demonstrated during the work included a high degree of clarity on project management, milestones and resources used. EICS also demonstrated a good eye for identifying lowest cost/highest achievement in a number of ways, including identification of appropriate grants. The inter personnel skills demonstrated were also of the highest order. I have no hesitation in providing a reference for EICS’ services.

Ronseal, although a household name in the UK, is virtually unknown in southern parts of Europe/ As such, these markets present a good opportunity base for our business to expand. We commissioned EICS to carry out a detailed piece of research into the structures of the Spanish DIY market.
I personally briefed and de-briefed the project and found EICS’ work to be of the highest standard. Their consultant impressed us in the way they approached the task and overcame barriers to getting the information required. Results were presented idn a timely and uncomplicated way, staying within the agreed budget.
I have no hesitation in recommending EICS’ work to any business.

TW Ward CNC Machinery had a recent requirement to apply to the Export Control Organisation to establish if an export license was required but were unsure of the procedure to follow.
With the expertise and clear guidance of EICS, we had confidence that the process was handled professionally which allowed us to concentrate our time and efforts on other issues within our business trading. If in the future, T W Ward need to apply for export licences, we would certainly be happy to work again with EICS.

As committed international traders, we work to stay ahead of the pack by constantly reviewing our performance and implementing any required changes. We approached EICS to carry out an audit of our international shipping systems and procedures both in our export and import departments.
The audit highlighted business improvements that could be made to reduce costs and delivery time. EICS worked with our staff to implement the improvements, focusing on more streamlined systems and reduced administration, whilst still delivering excellent service and value to our customers.
EICS provided a comprehensive and committed service to us, showing a grasp of our business goals and helping us to maintain our policy of best practice. We would be happy to recommend their services.
